Unless you live in a place where you are free from any possibility of flood, earthquake, storms, or an economic depression,    you will do well to prepare at least minimally.  And that's what both of these books will help you do!  The time to do so is not when the emergency is upon us, or when we "have time" ~ because we will usually never have it.  

Seek God on how and what to prepare in your home and family.  "He who sees danger but refuses to prepare for it is a fool."  (from somewhere in Proverbs)  "Make hay while the sun is shining" also fits!
